12 pewter figurines (ranging in size from 2"/5 cm to 3"/8 cm), based on the characters from the Ralph Bakshi cartoon movie The Lord of the Rings. The set consists of: Gandalf, Frodo, Sam, Gollum, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, Saruman, Nazgul, Orc, Galadriel. With the wooden display cabinet the set came with to hang on the wall. A rare set from 1978, made exclusively for American Express.
