Although not a huge area of Tolkien collecting, this is quite involved. There can be a lot of different versions, particularly of the most recent movies, in all sorts of formats, variations, re-releases and different country differences. There are often differences between pre-release images and the actual products, and the different slipcase verses actual cases can be very confusing.
This guide covers any Video format including Tape (VHS, BETA), Laserdisc, DVD, Blu Ray.
Does not include any Computer DVD's, which are part Video and part Interactive/Games (see Computer Guide).
Only includes productions which were physical products and therefore does not include anything which was only available through the Internet, streaming or direct to TV.
