Tolkien Musing - Mike Makras

On my latest delve into the internet I came across a Tolkien sculpture from the 70s/80s Mike Makras.

There is a fan Facebook page.

He was primarily around at the time of the Rankin Bass animated films, which, according to the Facebook page, his figures are based on however I don't believe he had any connection with.

His figures are quite rare and collectable and it is hard to find much detail on them.

CollectTolkien website has details of some figures

I believe that the figures were hand made so each one would be unique, it would therefore be impossible to have a complete guide of them.

These are some examples I have found.
