There are a lot of Tolkien posters and prints about and, due to re-prints, it can sometimes be hard to determine the original production dates of some them. There are also lots of different prints, I have only included a selection of these.
There are various types of posters and prints a; from original art, b; event promotions (book launches etc.).
Here are some of the early Tolkien posters and prints, I have no doubt there are a lot more, hence this only being a musing, if you are really interested in this area then I would suggest doing some detailed research into the individual artists.
Be aware that there are a lot of re-prints of posters and prints out there.
